Mark Knight goes on North America tour

The Toolroom Records main DJ, Mark Knight, goes on a monster American tour

I was only talking yesterday about how many European DJs struggle to break into the North American music market, and the best example for that is the number 1 working DJ in the world, DJ Tiesto. His recent album release, Kaleidoscope, has undeniable American collaborations with Nelly Furtado to catch some wind in the sails near Miami, while also having interesting indie influences. Mark Knight doesn’t get left behind as he’s planning a monster tour through much of North America, probably as part of getting his name out there over the ocean. Again, both DJ Tiesto and Mark Knight are huge names in Europe and across the world as working DJs, but North America is a whole different challenge for them.

You may remember DJ Mark Knight from one of my previous posts where I felt I had to give it up to the man as he clocked up no less than three festivals in 12 hours, all across Europe. So we know Mark Knight has the mile guzzling abilities of a hungry alligator, and if you’re a fan of electronic music, you’ll also know he has the skills to back that up. He’s requested at parties all over the world, and the proof is that his next stop after this huge American tour is all the way to Romania, where he’ll do a couple of shows before moving on elsewhere. I can safely say that after his U.S. shows, the Romanian parties will be relaxing indeed, especially as the people over there tend to make their own party without needing too much push.
