Technical Pro Accessories
Accessorize affordably
WorkingDJ is all about working DJ equipment, such as mixers, like the Mackie D.2 Pro, turntables, CDJs, CD players, headphones-you name it-if you need it, it’s written about. These products are so loved and, most importantly, are so needed that DJs tend to forget about the smaller things that make a big difference in the end: accessories! Small DJ gear like a case for your iPod, CDs and records are considerably important, as these accessories are not only convenient, but they aid in the longevity of your DJ gear. While you can shop anywhere for intelligent accessories, Technical Pro is where you can shop and get your moneys worth. I’ll just list off a few of my favorites.
DRW-1U and 3U: Essetially, Technical Pro’s DRW 1U and 3U are drawers that you can carry with you as if it’s light luggage. They’re both made out of solid construction, so if you drop it, this DJ product won’t break. They’re stylish in black, so, even if you don’t care about aesthetics, at least you know they’re not ugly. The DRW-1U is a bit sleeker, lighter, cheaper and, naturally, smaller. It can hold your tiniest essentials, such as your iPod, keys, cellphone, cables and even cash.
Technical Pro’s DR-CD
The DRW 3U holds bigger gear, and can store a lot more, like:
- Up to 72 CD cases
- Cell phone
- Wallet
- Cables
- Cash
Pretty much the same as the DRW-1U, but a little better. They’re both made out of steel and can be locked with a key for extra proctection.
DR-CD: Technical Pro’s DR-CD is perfect for mobile DJs, because it can store up to 29 CD cases and is designed in a way that’ll make carrying a breeze. It has a security bar that will protect your CDs from falling and breaking, and will also protect them from being snatched. DJs can remove this security bar whenever they need a CD or two, doing so with ease. Mobile DJs will have easy access to their CDs, and, according to TP, the DR-CD is great for setting up at gigs.
The beauty of these accessories doesn’t lie solely in the fact that they are convenient, easy to lug around and can protect your most cherished assets. But, they’re also cheap. You can find the cheapest at no higher than $35 MSRP, and not a single product will go higher than $60. If you get them at the street price, the lowest is around $25 and the highest won’t exceed $45! Enjoy.
