Pioneer CDJ 2000 DJ Product Review

Part 2

The Pioneer CDJ 2000 is a brand new multi media player that’s loaded with so many new features that one post just isn’t gonna cut it. If this is your first working DJ post about the CDJ 2000, you’re in the wrong area. Quickly read up on Part one of Pioneer’s newly released CDJ.

Among one of Pioneer’s many goals was to eliminate laptops from gigs. Who’s to say that’s actually going to happen? Maybe no one. But Pioneer is definitely confident. Seeing as the CDJ 2000 is the updated version of the CDJ 1000, Pioneer enhanced some functions of the previous model, such as the jog dial. Not only was the tension embellished, but they’ve included four illuminated areas to allow working DJs to (quickly) find their spot on the jog dial easily, even if they’re in a dark environment. I talked a little about the 6.1 inch LCD display in the first part, neglecting to say that it includes a graphic user interface for maximum DJ assistance. On top of that, the needle search will help working DJs get to a specific part of the song by placing the needle on the touch pad. That’s all you have to do.

Since rekordbox is DJ software that’s new for everyone, some may be a little apprehensive as to how it’ll function. How well will it organize songs? How convenient will it be and how complex-please say it’s not going to be complex! These are common qualms that could be put at ease with knowing rekordbox will intelligently organize your music library, making it easy for working DJs to swiftly skim through their music collection. Complex? No. Intelligent? Hell, yes. My words, I’m sure, don’t mean much, but you’ll never be 100% sure unless you purchase the CDJ 2000 for yourself. Then again, let’s say you don’t want to take your chances on rekordbox and you want to stick to either Serato or Traktor. That’s totally cool, because the CDJ 2000 works beautifully with both software applications.

Nothing more to say about the CDJ 2000 except that it’s built like a tank, and sexy, too. Also, go out and buy it! It may cost an arm and a leg, but it’s completely worth it. I know this visual overview isn’t going to provide much, but it’s a lot better than still pictures and words, right? So, take a look at the visual overview of the CDJ 2000.
