Start bubbling minds with the B100 bubble machine
When a working DJ needs a little extra push with their parties, special effects are one of the best places to look. This happens more often to resident DJs, as they pretty much stay in one place, but mobile DJs need a bit of boost to some of their parties too, either because you know someone big is going to be there or just for the fun and diversity. And in the range of special effects, there is one place where working DJs are bound to find what they’re looking for. If you can’t guess it, I’ll direct you to a previous DJ equipment review I wrote on the Diablo Coolflame from…Antari. These guys have pretty much everything a working DJ needs to offer diverse, quality effects to his crowds (be it in one place or not). And now we’re going to talk about a different type of special effects, as lights, fog, even fire have been covered pretty good…a bubble machine, more specifically the B100 small bubble machine.
Bubbles are definitely one interesting effects a working DJ can bring to his party to keep the crowd plugged in, and this DJ product review will try to show how the B100 does the trick. First off, the B100 is about the same size and weight as most other special effects machines a mobile DJ would use, so it’s ready for the road, with dimensions of L 341 W 170 H 172 (in mm) and a weight of 4.2 kgs.
But the B100 bubble machine has many other features that working DJ should know, as they’ll make their life a whole lot easier. For instance, any DJ product review about the B100 from Antari has to mention about the double bubble wheel technology included in the B100. This enables the bubble machine to release a nice and almost continuous amount of bubbles into the air for the duration it functions. The mouth of the B100 is directed upwards so the bubbles will start flying all over the club or any venue where the party needs to pick up and fly away.

More than that, the B100 is very user friendly, more so than fog machine, might I add. Antari DJ equipment reviews let us know that the B100 is designed so that the unused bubble liquid is automatically recycled and used all over again, without the working DJ to have to lift a finger. The B100 is also sure not to cause a mess, as it’s dripping free and the upward orientated mouth makes sure any drips go right back into the B100’s tank rather than on the floor for people to start slipping…that would be a party crasher.
So here are some technical aspects and other important features for the working DJ and mobile DJ to have about the B100 bubble machine(link to PDF manual):
- a multi-purpose power adapter included, which makes the B100 work in virtually all the world with AC100V/AC120V/AC230V/AC240V compatibility at either 50 or 60 Hz
- power consumption stands at 25 watts
- B100’s tank has a capacity of 1 liter of bubble liquid
- …which will last you for over 2 hours of continuous bubble madness
- on the downside, the B100 has no control board built in to allow the use of either wireless or timer remotes
Even if the B100 has no remote control option, have no fear, as Antari developed the B100X, which is perfect for those working DJs who just can’t be bothered. The B100X is identical in all aspects, technically or otherwise, to the B100, which I covered in this DJ equipment review, except for the added control board that allows the B100X to be controlled remotely, either through a timer or wireless remote (which are optional). So all in all, either the B100 or the B100X, Antari has the perfect bubble machine for your gig, as long as you’re keeping it small scale, such as a club or a private party somewhere.
