Ultrasone Ech602 DJ Product Review
What do you get when Ecler teams with Ultrasone?
In honor of Ultrasone’s latest debut in their HFI series, the HFI-2400 (a sexy designed headphone with features no other DJ supply store can beat), I thought it would be cool to review a product that has aided in the success of Ultrasone. Since there are so many headphones that helped create Ultrasone’s international fame, I’ve decided to review a pair that is a little more unique than the rest. I stumbled across the Ech602, high quality DJ headphones that are from Ecler and by Ultrasone. This had better be good.
Working DJs can take one look at the design and tell that the Ech602 headphones are sexy. Silver and black really seems to be the standard colors for quality headphones. Like I said in many workingDJ posts for Ultrasone, safety comes first. Ultrasone always designs their headphones with the health of their consumers in mind. So when you strap on the Ech602, you know you’re strapping on one of the safer headphones on the market. Take comfort in knowing that.

But of course, safety never jeopardizes the quality of sound, not with Ultrasone’s S-logic Natural Surround sound at any rate. Ecler and Ultrasone take pride in this one feature, because they know (and working DJs know) the unimpressive way most headphones have the music playing straight in your head. The Ech602, however, gives the working DJ a natural three dimensional surrounding sound that’s sure to take things up a notch. When Ecler and Ultrasone come together to create a headphone, working DJs aren’t expecting great sound. They’re expecting perfect sound. They’ve come close with these bad boys.
Features:
- Closed-back with reduced field emissions for professional use
- S-Logic Natural Surround Sound by ULTRASONE
- Rotating earpieces for easy one-ear monitoring
- Can be folded for easier storage
- Single-sided cord minimizes tangles
The Ech602 can be folded nicely for storage when mobile DJs need to get from gig to gig without inconvenient DJ products. They are also closed back with reduced field emissions. This detail added for professional use.
Now for the best part: these headphones retail at $279 and even lower street. Quality doesn’t always have to be expensive.
