Ferry Corsten
Corsten is "made of love" and made of lots of talent
Ferry Corsten, an acclaimed DJ and producer (maybe you heard of him), is still a young fresh faced kid, but is among the most well known, well respected and original DJs today. Growing up in Rotterdam, it’s no surprise his original style was the hardcore techno genre known as Gabba. After producing a few Gabba inspired tracks, he moved onto Clubhouse and Trance, clearly, his preferred styles. Whether you like clubhouse and trance, or you can do without, there’s no debating whether that slight swap was one of Corsten’s smarter moves.
Since Corsten’s genre swap, he’s produced and composed a series of chart toppers, created a successful dance label called the tsunami dance (along with pal Robert Smit), won awards and has been titled "the best producer", beating out a great talent like P. Diddy (or is he just going by "diddy" these days?).

Is he the best in the business? Maybe not, but Corsten deserves whatever glory and recognition he gets. Smoothly accelerating to the top, he’s making no mistakes, turning everything he touches into gold.
To get a sample of his music, information on his upcoming projects and tour dates, downloads and more, head over to his official web site here. Until then, get a look at Corsten’s lead single, Radio Crash, from Twice in a Blue Moon here. And check out more working DJ posts about the most respected DJs, such as Armin Van Buuren here.
